Transforming the University of Kentucky Education Library
Project Details
Although the University of Kentucky’s Education Library has numerous resources, both online and in person, the Education Library is missing the main thing that makes every library successful: users. By interviewing and prototyping designs to main users (students and faculty) of the Education Library, SKYdeas was able to redesign the library with the users in mind, making the library a place where they can be productive and want to come to. The new Education Library designs include new services (like Procrasti-NOT, allowing students to give their technological devices to the security of the library so they can be more productive) and a separation of more loud and quiet areas with a modern layout and a more comfortable atmosphere.
