The Laboratory on Design Thinking (dLab) at the University of Kentucky has been promoting and studying the application of human centered design since its founding in 2011. We research the application of design thinking’s role in creating new solutions to challenges in education and the community. In doing so we bring together faculty, students, educators and community members to better understand how human centered design can be effectively applied to create new solutions to previously unsolvable challenges.

Stay in the know about our projects and where we’ll be presenting next.
