Since 2011, the Laboratory on Design Thinking in Education (dLab), has been promoting and studying the application of human centered design in the area of P-20 education. Housed at the University of Kentucky, the dLab is a part of the College of Education P20 Innovation Lab.
We apply design thinking to create new solutions to challenges in education and the community. In doing so we bring together faculty, students, educators and community members to apply design and innovation in a structured and lively manner to create new solutions to previously unsolvable challenges.
